The Doberman Gang DVD

August 15th, 2008 Posted in Doberman Videos

Not many movies feature the dobberman dog, but one of the classics is the “The Doberman Gang“. This movie from 1972 was about an ex-con, an ex-waitress and a few of their friends who train a pack of doberman dogs to rob banks. There were two sequels that followed, The Daring Dobermans (1973), and The Amazing Dobermans (1976). Pretty cool idea for a movie and I think it be a successful modern day remake.

In the movie there are six dobermans each named after a famous bank robber, Dillinger (John Dillinger), Bonnie (Bonnie Parker), Clyde (Clyde Barrow), Pretty Boy Floyd, Baby Face Nelson, and Ma Barker. I read a couple of reviews of the movie and people seem to really enjoy it. If you love dobermans or fun b-movies from the seventies, I would add the Doberman Gand dvd to your collection. Lastly, here’s some movie trivia for you, this movie received the first “No Animals Were Harmed” credit ever issued to a movie by American Humane Society.

The Doberman Gang Dvd is hard to find, so you’ll have to keep checking back to see if one turns up.
